Tofu Kathi Rolls

Ever since I tried The Kathi Roll Company in New York, I've been addicted but wanted a way to make them healthier. So I decided to substitute the paneer for tofu and honestly can't even taste the difference. Definitely one of my favorite dinner recipes and it's so easy! ​

Tofu Kathi Rolls

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Servings: 2 people

Ingredients 
Tofu Marination
  • Garlic 
  • Diced Onions
  • Tomato Paste
  • Garam Masala
  • KitKat Masala (or any other Indian masalas)
  • Yogurt
  • Dash of salt

  • Bell Peppers (sliced)
  • Onions (sliced)
  • Green Chutney
  • Sweet Tamarind Chutney
  • Chapati

Instructions
1. Add oil to a pan and sauté garlic and add diced onions

2. Add some tomato paste, garam masala, kitkat masala, and a dash of salt 

3. Once everything is mixed, blend with yogurt for a thinner consistency (taste & adjust accordingly)

4. NOTE: you can use any paneer gravy for the marination

5. Cute tofu into cubes and air fry for 10 minutes at 350 degrees

6. Add oil to a pan and mix tofu and the marination and let the sauce thicken in the pan

7. To assemble: cook the chapati, add green chutney & tamarind chutney, add bell peppers & onions

8. Fold and enjoy!
